Don’t I look like I belong on a private jet? I am finally getting my chance! And I get to help four newcomers to Vegas at the same time. Swagbucks and El Jet threw a contest this spring to win a trip to the Strip on a private jet charter — and they asked me to assist the winners with the planning of their stay. Since I love showing off my adopted hometown, I jumped at the opportunity. As it turns out, both winners of the contest are coming to town for the first time. So exciting, don’t you think?
Since neither winner had ever been to Las Vegas, they had a lot of questions! In the end, we planned two very different trips for the women, both avid users of Swag Bucks, the online coupon/rewards site, and their plus ones. Restaurants, spas, shows and casinos — they are in for quite a trip!
But first they have to get here.
Part of the win is that El Jet will provide private jet charter from the ladies’ hometowns to L.A. — and then to Vegas. And I get to fly to L.A. to welcome them, and finish any last-minute itinerary loose ends. What I didn’t realize until I received the flight details was that I’m the only one flying from Vegas to L.A. Having a whole plane to myself, even for an hour, is something I never thought I’d experience.
Flying private whenever I need to go to L.A.? I could get used to this!
